Focused advertising with a hook to it is a wonderful thing. What’s even better is what I like to call “craziness that works.”
The Chick-fil-A cows ad campaign is a stellar example of this, taking the idea that cows don’t want to be eaten and referring people to chickens instead, coupled with unforgettable graphics and 3-D
signage. When you’re driving down the road it’s impossible not to want to know what the black-and-white Holstein cows are now saying about eating more chicken!
I love to work on these sorts of things, coming up with focused advertising ideas, concepts and then the text and slogans that go with it. So, here are some of the ideas I would be pitching if I was working on the Chick-fil-A cows campaign. These?Chick-fil-A? slogan haikus are all in the form of 5-7-5 haikus, also. I’ve been cranking them out!
When writing these Chick-fil-A? slogan haikus, I’ve also left off the actual name Chick-fil-A in what I am posting here just to avoid any problems, but for any Chick-fil-A people who might arrive at this site, know that this is an homage to what you’re doing and you might even find some of this useful! If you do, let me know-I have plenty more. 😎
